Britain’s MI-6, formally known as the Secret Intelligence Service or SIS, was created in 1909. Britain took possession of Palestine from the Ottoman Empire in 1917. The US Office of Strategic Services (OSS) was formed in 1942, and was reformed as the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in 1947. The nation of Israel was declared in 1948, and the Mossad was created the following year in 1949. Saudi Arabia’s General Intelligence Presidency (GIP) was founded in 1955.
It is, and has been my contention that these events and organizations are all closely related. MI-6 was created a few years before WW1, when Lawrence of Arabia helped Sharif Hussein and his son Faisal consolidate most of the Arab peninsula under the House of Saud.
At nearly the same time, the British took control of Palestine, followed by the formation of the OSS during WW2 and the CIA immediately after, followed almost immediately by the creation of Israel and the Mossad.
There is little if any real or effective difference between MI-6, the CIA, the GIP, and the Mossad. They work in concert to place a heavy thumb on the heads of world leaders, and the ones they cannot bring to heel are added to the list of Western enemies (Russia, Iran, North Korea, increasingly China).
Nations that do not play well with these bullies, such as Libya, Syria, and Lebanon, are reduced to rubble by the US, Britain and Israel.
To a lesser extent, New Zealand, Australia and Canada (the Five Eyes with US/UK) play roles as extensions/divisions of the core intelligence group. They co-operate to run spying rings on the rest of the world, part of which involves compromising key political and business figures to keep them in line with the planetary agenda.
This IS the world order of myth and legend. This is the Empire that America inherited from the UK, and which is quickly falling apart before our eyes.
This Empire operates like every other mafia in history, by compromising key figures, using blackmail and coersion to control and direct them. It’s as old as politics itself.
The Empire uses agents, sometimes known as “assets,” to lure targets into traps, where they can be compromised by amassing documentation of foibles, infidelities and weaknesses. The assets run networks in many social and political circles, gathering the “whips” to keep the powerful “corralled”.
Mata Hari, Christine Keeler, Cheryl Ben Tov, Robert Maxwell, Jeffery Epstein, Anna Chapman, Ghislaine Maxwell, and P. Diddy are just some of the most notorious names in the 20th century. The KGB famously ran a small army of “swallows” (females) and “ravens” (males) as blackmail bait.
Israel and the UK have used honey traps to kidnap and assassinate threatening individuals. Closeted homosexuals and pedophiles have long been rich hunting grounds for blackmail ops, since the targets were highly motivated to keep their secrets.
The question we ask today is not whether Jeffery Epstein operated a honey trap op, but rather for whom he operated, and how has he posthumously maintained such a grip on US agencies and individuals? It is obvious that his target list is so damning as to instill deep fear and loathing in figures, such as Kash Patel and Dan Bongino, who have publicly sworn to expose everything.
Let us not forget that it was Trump himself who successfully used Epstein against the Clintons in the 2016 election. This is the same politician who recently asked why anyone was still focused on Epstein, when there were so many other pressing issues. The truly salient question is which public figures are compromised to the point of creating and perpetuating the world’s current problems?
There is a bit of American folk wisdom that fits quite well here, “Live so that you wouldn’t be ashamed to sell the family parrot to the town gossip.” If our leaders weren’t so fast to sell their integrity to feed their basest desires, the world would be a much better place, but corruption begins at home. Why do we expect more from public figures than we do of ourselves?
In the end, the only way to heal is to rip the bandage off and expose the gangrenous corruption to the air and light. However, is any of us willing and able to face what lies beneath? After all, aren’t we the ones who allowed the corruption to take hold in the first place, and allow our wealth to be confiscated to perpetuate it?
Political blackmail is as old as civilization. All humans have weaknesses, and all weaknesses can be exploited. It’s one thing to demand exposure, but it’s another entirely to be the agent or subject of the exposure. Humans also have a tendency to attack the bearer of bad news, when the news is worse than we could have imagined.
The release of the Epstein target list is absolutely necessary to rid our public institutions of corruption, but to do so would certainly undermine all credibility in our public institutions, including the ones that facilitated the exposure. It’s a classic Catch-22, with the status quo being the most viable option for maintaining the facade of civility.
The name Epstein means “keystone”. A keystone is essential to maintain pressure in an architectural arch, lest is collapse along with the wall it supports. If we yank out the keystone, there is no predicting where the resulting collapse will stop. Are we truly prepared to deal with that possibility?
I don’t know how much Trump and his minions are cognizant of the power they hold, but I’m willing to bet they know exactly what they have. I suspect they are weighing the possibility of total collapse against the weaponized information they possess.
I am also quite sure that the modern secular state of Israel is itself a keystone in a global network of empires, and that exposing its role in propping up corrupt power systems would cause global outrage and backlash. We clearly see that Trump 2.0 has an unhealthy relationship with Israel, whatever the basis for it is.
I suspect the Trumpians will eventually release something to slake the thirst of the angry mob, but will never let loose of the most damning and valuable information.
There’s also the issue of being far enough away from the shrapnel when you set off a bomb.

One of the better films related to honey traps and spy craft is No Way Out (1987). The story is well crafted and the performances are well above average, with strong direction and editing to maintain tension. The plot involves a “mole hunt” to cover up espionage and blackmail, with a nice twist at the end. Why not pair it with Luc Besson’s La Femme Nikita (1990), for an outstanding double feature of paranoia and spy games?

Good essay. I hate spies. They are all scum. I don't pay my taxes/extortion payments to the government mafias willingly. These government mafias will steal my property/assets and throw my ass in jail, or worse, if I don't pay the extortion payments.
I don't vote. I don't support any of the assholes.
Just like the movie you recommend, there is "No Way Out".
Sums it up, mate. The world ìs nothing but competing mafias, and the question is ŵhen will the pain outweigh the perceived benefits?
