On 7 July 1937, Japan invaded China for the second time. Two years later, on 31 August 1939, a group of men dressed in Polish uniforms invaded a radio station in Gleiwitz, Poland, and started broadcasting anti-German propaganda.
The next day, German troops invaded western Poland in the first example of Blitzkreig, itself derived from a tactic used by the Mongol Horde in the 13th century, and a predecessor of Dubya Bush’s “Shock and Awe” campaigns in Iraq.
The consensus is that Gleiwitz was a German false-flag operation, but there are compelling arguments against that view, especially when taking the secret Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of 23 August 1939, into consideration.
The Gleiwitz Incident would seem to be anathema to the Pact between Germany and Russia, and “other” parties might appear to benefit more from such a provocation—like separatists seeking to use Germany to liberate Poland from Soviet rule.
In any case, at 64, I’ve never known a world that wasn’t embroiled in a global war. One might subdivide the war into major battles, such as the Cold War, Korea and Vietnam, not to mention dozens of minor flare ups, but from our accustomed perch in Low Earth Orbit (LEO), we can see the DNA of a single conflict running throughout the 20th century.
This would include World War I as the grandaddy of the whole mess, sort of like Pappy Bush invading Iraq, followed by Clinton and Dubya in close succession, but on a grander scale.
The recent events in Moscow, Washington, Riyadh, and Munich are stunning. For the first time in a century, Europe is being relegated to a whiny child status, Russia is poised to retake its Novorossiya state (formerly of the Ottoman Empire), and the US is decidedly stepping back from its accustomed role of GloboCop. If events continue along these lines, the obvious loser of the 100 Year World War is Europe.
Since 1914, the European “powers,” underpinned by Vatican evangelism, have been getting themselves into deep quicksand. Time and again, the US has come to the aid of the UK and France (Angles and Normans).
In return for swatting flies, the US made Europe its compliant lapdog, forced to stand behind the master’s ankles and yap incessantly at strangers, while the master expanded its Manifest Destiny Doctrine to a global stage.
In just one month, the intricate tapestry of 20th century history and geopolitics has started to unravel at such an alarming rate that most folks have yet to appreciate just how momentous these events are. If we could find an apt symbol for the planetary shift under way, it would be the ailing Pope Francis I and his impending exit.
Interesting timing.
From our LEO perch, Trump appears to be the first true American president. He has no loyalty to ancient European family ties. His personal and political motivations are purely Amerocentric, unbound by Old World sentiments or interests.
It is always possible we are witnessing a staged act of enormous consequence. Certainly, Far Siders know that trust is not a word commonly associated with politics around here.
However, if we take all this on face value, we may be watching the impending and final end to the 100 Year Global War.
The Western Deep State apparatus that has ridden rough-shod over the world for the past century is certainly being undone. Mass firings in Washington. border closures, an end to the Treasury looting all indicate a solid start to unravelling of the institutional framework of global control.
The weird sort of co-presidency between Donald Trump and Elon Musk (know as Trusk around here) has the bloated and lethargic Deep State jolting out of their chairs and spilling their double caramel lattes.
Up here in LEO, we see the tapestry disintegrating, but its replacement seems a bit hazy. One gets the impression that Trusk is aiming for a tripartite world, with the US, Russia and China dividing up the spoils—a kind of multi-polarity to rival BRICS, perhaps?
Trusk is clearly waging a kind of Blitzkreig against entrenched bureaucracies. Just barely over a month into his second administration, he is moving at unheard of speed, lunging, feinting and parrying so rapidly that his opponents have no time to muster a counter-strike. Before the GeezerMedia can formulate a narradigm, Trusk has launched a totally new outrage with multiple red herrings. The Bumbledicks are being traumatized, unsure which front to defend, spreading their forces over such a broad theatre of war, they can hardly formulate a strategy.
Hey, this sounds a lot like the tactics Russia has been using in the Ukraine. Hmmm…
For us Far Siders here in LEO, there’s so much dust and smoke that we can’t get a clear view of the battle lines. With so many skirmishes along the front, it’s difficult to ascertain the strategic thrust for the end game. It’s best to hold the applause until the plot has time to resole itself.
It’s bold, it’s brash, it’s novel. If the opposition manages to get a foothold, then there’s secrets aplenty to reveal to further distract and disorient the enemy. It’s also highly entertaining for us floating around up here in LEO with all the cute little StarLink boxes.
It’s also fun to watch the GeezerMedia scrambling to make sense of it all. It’s obvious they have no clue how to respond, and no audience to steer. It feels as if we are watching an installment of Honey, I Shrank the Bobbleheads.
Like the climactic action scene in a superhero movie, the swirling camera and frenetic editing leaves us confused and disoriented, and that’s by design. The question is, who will be left standing when the dust settles?

Today’s topic just screams Shakespeare, especially when adapted by Joseph Mankiewicz, and starring Marlon Brando, James Mason and John Gielgud topping an amazing cast. Of course, I’m talking about Julius Caesar (1953), the definitive epic tale about power and world-building.

Hate to say it, but you are right as rain. Trump has the splendid opportunity to cost Russia dearly, but he's gonna give them an out (peace deal) if they are smart enough to take it.
Meanwhile, China keeps building ICBMs, mobil, fixed, and expanding their "Great Wall" (underground roadway). And we're stuck with single warhead units, they have 6-10 per missile I would guess.
Excellent Low Earth Orbit View! Thank you again!
